Hello world. My name is SoulKlap. Some of you may have heard of me, some of you have not. I'm an MC and producer from Cleveland, Ohio. I've been doing music for over 10 years, but now for the first time ever I'm releasing it to the world under my own imprint, SoulEssential Recordings. This Summer, SoulEssential Recordings and The Higher Plane are teaming up to bring to you my new mixtape, "Klapisms Vol. 1: A Parallax." The first single, "iOweYou," is my introduction/reintroduction to you, the fans! I believe that whether you have heard my previous work (Soul-Xploitation, The Quan, Soulful Gangster) or never heard any of my music that you will love it. This project is for the dreamer that is too afraid to leap. The inner "Max" (see "Where The Wild Things Are") that dwells in all of us. I finally decided to stop being afraid to dream, and to let my imaginations run wild. The question should never be "Why?" It should be "Why not?"
