I just want to say that these last 5 days have been very humbling for me. I got 2 of my wisdom teeth pulled. Becuz of that, I'd been incapacitated. I had been complaining about the pain and how it sucked not being able to eat what I wanted. I had a humbling conversation with my mother this morning. She basically told me that I should be thankful that I'm not in a worse state than what I'm in. She told me that God would never put me through anything I could not bear. That's true. I became very humbled by our conversation and ask that we all remain humbled and thankful for our health, strength and our families as well. I thank God for my health, strength, family and friends. I pray for the families of those who will spend this Christmas in the hospital, or for those who have lost loved ones as well. God bless you all, and a very Merry Christmas to you and yours from SoulerSpace!

Benjamin Elijah Mays (1895-1984)
This is the first of a new series @ SoulerSpace! called Omega Man of the Month. The first of our series is the late great Benjamin Elijah Mays. Mr. Mays was a former President of Morehouse College (of which I am an alum). He was also a very prophetic man and inspirational to anyone who crossed paths with him. He was also a mentor to Civil Rights Activist and Morehouse College alum, Martin Luther King, Jr, '48.
"The tragedy of life doesn't lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach. It isn't a calamity to die with dreams unfulfilled, but it is a calamity not to dream. It is not disgrace to reach for the stars, but it is a disgrace to have no stars to reach for ." -Benjamin E. Mays
